Post-op Update

My surgery was on Monday and today is Saturday. The surgery went well, it just took a while to get started. The surgery was scheduled for 10 AM, I had to get there at 7:30 am, and I didn't get my "happy juice" until like 3??? I just know I was on my way home around 7:30 pm. Sooooo I was there for around 12 hours. My dad complained a lot about waiting but I honestly didn't care. I've been waiting for this surgery for years, I can wait a few more hours.

I'm doing pretty well, just trying to find things to keep me busy. I'm currently reading "A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor" by Hank Green and it's like 500 pages. It's a sequel and part of a duology. I'm like halfway through it but I just want to get through it and finish the 20 other books from the library I have waiting for me on my dresser.

The pain isn't too bad, I'm currently very itchy. I was high on drugs the first like three days post-op, which I definitely think was for the best. I'm running out of the pills they gave me so I have to call for more on Monday. I just feel a lot of pain when I move my arms a certain way.
