My Stomach Hates Me

I had a flexible sigmoidoscopy today, which is basically a mini colonoscopy. I thought I had UC (Ulcerative Colitis), but apparently I don't. When I had a colonoscopy in December 2020, my GI told me I had UC and gave me medication called Mesalamine. These meds didn't really help me. I mean I stopped bleeding but still had immense stomach pain on the daily, and shit at least twice a day. My GI retired in January 2021 so I got left with his practice partner, who was insanely booked because all of my old GI patients went to this one woman.
A lot happened in 2021 and I ended up moving to Orlando right after my mom passed away. I finally found a GI in late 2021 and I love him, I got so lucky. He took a biopsy to see what is up in my colon, and told me I have hemorroids.
I kinda assumed my meds weren't working, so I am curious to see what my Dr. has to say when I see him in late February. My stomach has hurt all fucking day.
